Company Founders

ADVANCED MARINE ENTERPRISES, INC. (AME) was founded in 1976 by three men, two of whom today are still actively involved in day-to-day operations as well as long-range planning. Simon Glatz, Otto Jons, and John Drewry worked with one another for ten years before founding Advanced Marine Enterprises.

Before founding Advanced Marine Enterprises, Mr. Glatz held business management positions with two privately owned Naval Architecture firms. Mr. Glatz has a BS in Aeronautical Engineering and an MS Applied Mechanics. While CEO, Mr. Glatz concentrated his efforts on business strategy, sales and marketing, and corporate development and was responsible for determining AME's goals, direction, and philosophy.
